Event Details

Our Presidents sure are colorful characters, aren’t they? So, taking a day to observe these temporary fathers of our country is worth a federal holiday apparently! But in recent years, Presidents Day is increasingly referred to as Washington’s Birthday which was in February 1732. This was a smart move, considering not all of our presidents should be celebrated. (Come on — who could forget the scourge that was Herbert Hoover? Harding’s Teapot Dome Scandal? The intense public contempt for John Adams?! That unmemorable loser James Buchanan?)
