Atlantic Jams with BBC Four on “Rock ‘n’ Roll America”

Rock and roll is kind of our bread and butter. Would you expect anything less from the most American of video production services companies?

BBC Four_2While we love the Beatles, the Stones, The Police, and so many more awesome bands and artists who came from the U.K., we can’t deny our rock and roll roots which are firmly entrenched in American pop culture history. Buddy Holly? Elvis Presley? Jerry Lee Lewis? These guys created the foundation that every rock band would descend from. So when our good friends at BBC Four requested some crewing assistance on their docu-series which traces the roots of the then-rebellious genre of music, how could we turn down the gig?

Atlantic provided crew and gear for the BBC in Detroit, Memphis, Nashville, and Philadelphia over the course of several weeks in order to capture exclusive interviews with some living legends, such as Jerry Lee Lewis and Ben E. King, and those who were apart of their meteoric rise to success during the ’50s and ’60s. You can check out the official page for the series over here.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to rock and roll all night and party every day. Don’t worry–the production service hits will keep on coming!
