Atlantic & ITV Are On The Case with “Autopsy”

Ever been curious about the sudden circumstances surrounding a celebrity’s death?  ITV’s docu-series Autopsy: The Last Hours of… explores just that.  From Steve Irwin and Anthony Bourdain, to Joan Rivers and Robin Williams, Autopsy re-creates the last moments of each person’s life by analyzing actual autopsy records.

For the long-running show’s latest season, Atlantic provided local crews consisting of a director of photography (who ran camera, lighting, and sound) and a field producer (who conducted interviews).  To make sure the ITV editorial teams behind each interview were part of the process, our crews set-up Zoom and Skype feeds so they could see, hear, and interact with everyone in real time.

Given the subject matter, there were plenty of people to interview. So here’s just a partial list of places where were supplied local crew for this season: Las Vegas, NV; Mount Pleasant, SC; Littleton, CO; Manteo, NC; Vancouver, BC; Clinton, MD; Corvallis, OR; Bethesda, MA; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Crystal Lake, IL; Longmont, CO; Mesa, AZ; and Mount Airy, NC.

Autopsy: The Last Hours Of… is available to stream on Tubi, Pluto TV, and Amazon Prime.
