Every September, tennis fans the world over flock to Flushing Meadows, New York to catch their favorite players participate in the US Open. From Federer to Nadal to Djokovic – the world-famous tournament provides a legendary platform for the sport’s elite, both on and off the court. So when the opportunity came up for for Atlantic to film tennis greats during US Open, we were more than up for the challenge.
In the lead-up to the Open, our local New York-based field producer, DP and sound op sat down with tennis legend Jim Courier for an interview at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, captured on the Sony FX9, where he talked about the up-and-coming crop of American tennis talent. We also filmed an interview with Coco Gauff, whom we sat down with after her US Open singles win.
