Around the July 4th holiday each year, the video world tends to goes quiet for a bit. And understandably so! But to that, we say…nay.
Much like our forefathers who rejected taxation without representation, we here at Atlantic celebrate not with hot dogs, bald eagles, fireworks, democracy, or some combination thereof. No, fellow patriots, we celebrate with production services!
And this year we were in for a special treat when we got the opportunity to film a surprise concert featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at the West Point Military Academy. (How many times in your life can you say that!?)
Atlantic supplied 5 camera operators, 1 jib operator, and 2 production assistants to assist with setting up and capturing broadcast-ready footage of the choir’s dazzling show.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is often considered to be “America’s Choir,” so the fact that they asked the most American company this side of the Atlantic (!) to film their show means a lot to us. In the presence of the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting everyone, the Choir captured the feeling of what it means to be American on July 4th. We couldn’t have asked for a greater honor.
Aerial videography is something we’re seeing a lot more of these days. We’ve had our fair share of experiences up in the air, so…
If someone walks into our office and says, “Do you guys love video?” we would all nod our heads in collective and enthusiastic agreement.…
