Atlantic Television was founded in 1997 to provide national production services in the USA. The company uniquely provides nationwide production support by combining a network of experienced personnel with an extensive inventory of equipment.
Atlantic's commitment to high quality production and first class customer service has resulted in rapid growth. Today the company provides production services in every major city in the USA and in Canada and supports several hundred productions a year. Clients include many of the world's leading broadcasters and production companies including: NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, the Discovery networks, National Geographic, the BBC, ITV (UK), ZDF (Germany) and ABC (Australia).
The company's senior partners Howard Gibbins and Doug Propp have substantial broadcast production experience having each worked in the industry for more than 20 years. Before founding Atlantic Howard Gibbins was formerly a producer with the BBC in London and a senior producer with the FOX network in New York. Doug Propp worked for CNN as it grew from a start-up into a major international network. He later became the President of the documentary production company PPI, where he was an award winning producer and director.
